Kia Soul: Front Stabilizer Bar Replacement

Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.

Loosen the bolt (A) and then disconnect the universal joint assembly
from the pinion of the steering gear box.
|
3. |
Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from front hub.
|
4. |
Remove the stabilizer link (A) loosening the nut.
|
5. |
Remove the tie rod end ball joint (C) from the knuckle by using
the SST (09568-34000).
|
6. |
Loosen the bolt & nut and then remove the lower arm (A).
|
7. |
Loosen the bolt and then separate the roll rod stopper (A).
|
8. |
Disconnect the muffler rubber hanger (A).
|
9. |
Loosen the bolts & nuts and then remove the sub frame (A).
|
10. |
Remove the heat protector (A).
|
11. |
Remove the stabilizer (A) from the front sub frame by loosening
the mounting bolts & nuts.
|
12. |
Check the wheel Alignment.
