Kia Soul: Blower Motor Replacement

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. |
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel")
|
3. |
Remove the driver's side shower duct (A) after loosening the screw.
|
4. |
Lower the steering column after loosening the mounting bolts and
nuts.
(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Column and Shaft")
|
5. |
Disconnect the mode control actuator connector (A) and then remove
the mounting clip (B).
|
6. |
Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the temperature control
actuator (B) after loosening the mounting screws.
|
7. |
Remove the brake pedal.
(Refer to Brake System - "Brake Pedal")
|
8. |
Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the blower motor
(B) after loosening the screws.

9. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Remove the telemetics unit (TMU).

Disconnect the mode control actuator connector (A) and then remove
the mounting clip (B).

Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the temperature control
actuator (B) after loosening the mounting screws.
|
8. |
Remove the brake pedal.
(Refer to Brake System - "Brake Pedal")
|
9. |
Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the blower motor
(B) after loosening the screws.

10. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
